This privacy policy sets out the privacy policy of Rignite Automations Pty Ltd ABN 61 700 547 100  (referred to in this privacy policy as ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’).

We take our privacy obligations seriously and we’ve created this privacy policy to explain how we store, maintain, use and disclose personal information.

We are committed to preventing serious invasions of privacy and ensuring the protection of your personal information, so you can contact us using the details below if you have any questions or concerns.

By providing personal information to us, you consent to our storage, maintenance, use and disclosing of personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

We may change this privacy policy from time to time by posting an updated copy on our website and we encourage you to check our website regularly to ensure that you are aware of our most current privacy policy.

1. Types of Personal Information We Collect

The personal information we collect may include the following:

  • name;

  • mailing or street address;

  • email address;

  • social media information;

  • telephone number and other contact details;

  • age;

  • date of birth;

  • credit card or other payment information;

  • information about your business or personal circumstances;

  • information in connection with client surveys, questionnaires and promotions;

  • your device identity and type, IP address, geo-location information, page view statistics, advertising data and standard web log information;

  • business contact information, such as your role, work email address and work phone number, obtained from third-party sources;

  • information about third parties; and

  • any other information provided by you to us via our website or our online presence, or otherwise required by us or provided by you.

2. How We Collect Personal Information

We may collect personal information either directly from you, or from third parties, including where you:

  • contact us through our website;

  • receive goods or services from us;

  • submit any of our online sign-up forms;

  • communicate with us via email, telephone, SMS, social applications (such as LinkedIn or Facebook) or otherwise;

  • interact with our website, social applications, services, content and advertising; and

  • invest in our business or enquire as to a potential purchase in our business.

We may also collect business contact information about you from third parties, such as your name, role, business name, work email address, work phone number and publicly available business details. These third parties include commercially available business information and lead generation services, business directories, industry bodies, social media and publicly available websites, and they may be located inside or outside of Australia. We collect this information from them, rather than from you, because it is unreasonable or impracticable to collect it from you directly before we first make contact. We use it to identify and contact businesses that may benefit from our products and services, and for the other purposes set out in this privacy policy.

When you submit a form on this website we collect the details you enter, the page you were on and your IP address, so we can respond to you. We may use automated tools, including AI services, to prepare a summary of your business and a tailored brief. If you do not provide the details we ask for, we may not be able to respond.

We may also collect personal information from you when you use or access our website or our social media pages. This may be done through the use of web analytics tools, cookies or other similar tracking technologies that allow us to track and analyse your website usage. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Cookies are small files that store information on your computer, mobile phone or other device and allow the creator of the cookie to identify when you visit different websites. If you do not wish information to be stored as a cookie, you can disable cookies in your web browser.

3. Use of Your Personal Information

We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:

  • to provide goods, services or information to you;

  • for record keeping and administrative purposes;

  • to provide information about you to our contractors, employees, consultants, agents or other third parties for the purpose of providing goods or services to you;

  • to improve and optimise our service offering and customer experience;

  • to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements with third parties;

  • to send you administrative messages, reminders, notices, updates, security alerts, and other information requested by you; and

  • to consider an application for employment from you.

We may disclose your personal information to cloud providers, contractors and other third parties located inside or outside of Australia. If we do so, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipient has similar legal safeguards and deals with your personal information in a manner consistent with how we deal with it.

We use the following service providers to run our website and business: Calendly (booking), Loops (email), Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (website analytics), Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection on forms), Supabase (database and drawings), Vercel (application and API hosting), Railway (per-tenant workflow hosting, databases and PDF processing), Claude, Gemini and Deepgram (AI and audio processing), Keenable (business and automation services), and business information and lead generation providers (to source business contact details).

Some of these providers store or process information in Australia, Singapore, the United States and other countries.

When you use forms or tools on our website, we may also collect publicly available information about your business, for example from your website. We may use automated tools and artificial intelligence services to prepare summaries, briefs and other preliminary materials from information you provide and publicly available business information. These materials may require review and may not always be complete or accurate.

We keep enquiry details for 12 months and then delete or de-identify them, unless we are legally required to keep them.

4. Marketing

We may at times send you marketing communications, which will be done in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). If we do, we may use email, SMS, social media, phone or mail to send you direct marketing communications.

Where consent is needed, we will ask you for your consent before sending you marketing communications, except where you:

  • have explicitly opted in to receiving email marketing from us in the past; or

  • were given the option to opt out of email marketing when you initially signed up for one of our platforms and you did not do so.

You can, at any time, opt out of receiving marketing materials from us by using the opt-out facility provided (e.g. an unsubscribe link on emails we send you) or by contacting us via the details provided at the end of this privacy policy. We will implement such a request as soon as possible, however we cannot guarantee that our response will be immediate.

If we collect your details from a third party and contact you for marketing, we will give you a simple way to opt out in each communication or at first contact, and we will stop contacting you when you ask. On request, we will tell you where we obtained your personal information from, unless it is unreasonable or impracticable to do so. We will only send electronic marketing messages in accordance with the Spam Act, and we check the Do Not Call Register before making marketing calls. You can also ask us to delete your details by contacting us using the details at the end of this privacy policy.

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is secure and protected from misuse or unauthorised access. Our information technology systems are password protected, and we use a range of administrative and technical measures to protect these systems.
